Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Learning at the University of the Punjab Lahore, attended the prestigious International Faiz Conference hosted by the Department of Urdu at GC University Faisalabad.
Dr. Kamran had the honor of presiding over the first session of the conference, where he delivered a keynote address highlighting the romantic and revolutionary aspects of the poetry of Faiz Ahmed Faiz. He emphasized that Faiz's poetry primarily revolves around the miseries and problems faced by the common man, resonating with audiences worldwide.
The conference brought together scholars, researchers, and literature enthusiasts to celebrate the life and works of Faiz Ahmed Faiz, one of Pakistan's most celebrated poets.
